Everytime I phoned in to find out my trip (confirming the trip and change the time of leaving or new deals). I waited for very long time. I sometime experience hang up ..for no reason.

the website was easy to assess and maneuver around. Online Check in was really efficient and helped us pick seats before anyone else. Info was straight and to the point. Really enjoyable and easy to use.

I've used WestJet (and only WestJet) to fly within Canada and to the States. I've used their website and is the best one available. When having an issue with a reservation I'v called the 1-800 number and their agents are quite friendly and helpful (not bitter, angry and located in other countries...)

I used to think that you could find a better deal by calling travel agents, but for myself for domestic flights, I have always found value and selection through Westjet.com. I am actually flying east in 2 weeks, and paid less than $350 for 2 round trip adult fares, all included! Website is informative and concise, and support by calling customer service if needed has always been friendly.

Many positive experiences

I have used Westjet for many Canadian flights and as the other review indicated, the customer service is the best. Their policy on pricing is excellent. If you book a flight and you see it goes on sale later, they will credit your account the difference for use within one year. Now that alone is a good policy but it goes beyond this. I was not able to use my credit within a year because of a family health isue. They were understanding and compasionate and allowed me to use my credit even though it was beyond one year. No hassles. This is customer serivce and it brings in business. Everything else is top notch including new planes,and a lighter tone from the airline people. Recently, I have noticed that their prices have been higher than in the past - but the same as air canada - hence the 4 rating. They also have flights out of non-core airports which takes the preflight stress almost to down zero -versus something like the Toronto airport.

Trip to Vancouver

Two of us flew to Vancouver from Toronto last weekend via Westjet. Booking online was very easy and the choices were clear but it could be a bit faster.
Had to change my return date but customer service was very prompt and friendly.
