Abercrombie.ca is Abercombie & Fitch's online store for Canada. Abercombie & Fitch Co. (A&F) was founded in 1892 as a sporting and excursion goods outfitter but now operates as a "Casual Luxury" lifestyle brand. They sell casual sportswear apparel, including knit and woven shirts, graphic t-shirts, tanks, polos, fleece, jeans and woven pants, shorts, sweaters, outerwear, personal care products and accessories for men, women and kids under the Abercrombie & Fitch brand.

Apart from its namesake, Abercrombie & Fitch Co. operates four other brands:

abercrombie
Prep-school by Abercrombie & Fitch. Themed as "classic cool" for preteens 9 through 14. This is the children's version of Abercrombie & Fitch.

Hollister Co.
Southern California by Abercrombie & Fitch. Themed after "SoCal" for teenagers 12 through 24. Hollister is moderately priced compared to its parent brand. It also offers a personal body care line.

RUEHL No.925
Post-grad by Abercrombie & Fitch. Themed after Greenwich Village for post-collegiate 25 through 35 aged consumers. It has the highest price range among the A&F brands. This is the first brand to offer genuine leather bags and purses for women.

Gilly Hicks
The cheeky cousin of Abercrombie & Fitch. Themed after "Down Under" Sydney, Australia. It offers underwear and loungewear for women 18 and up.

Shopping is not super cheap, but if you're shopping for young folks, they do ship with boxes and paper to give you a really presentable gift.

Scored some decent tote bags and shirts for family and friends, and continue to monitor the 'clearance'.

Great service, great clothes

Having ordered from Abercrombie and abercrombie since about 2003 I have always had a great experience with it. The items would come either UPS or Purolator. Why I think Abercrombie is fantastic for ordering online is that once I ordered a denim skirt and got hit with huge duty and brokerage fees from UPS. I alerted Abercrombie as it was not stated on their website at the time. They understood my concern and actually mailed me a cheque for the unexpected costs. I was truly amazed at their willingness to do this without having to even ask for a refund.

Great service and easy to order and update an existing order. I was able to add one additional item after I completed an order via the phone with extreme ease. Sizing on women's clothing tends to be a little inconsistent though. A "small" in one item maybe a little too "small" in another item. Be aware of the fine print when they say 'classic fit', 'easy fit', etc ... Shipping is a little steep, wish they had one set shipping charge or free shipping over xxx dollars.
