Buyer Beware: Misleading Product Advertisement

I recently purchased two Canon-compatible ink cartridges from Blankmedia.ca.
Despite the image (on the website) showing a cartridge with a Canon sticker on it, I did not receive Canon originals. It was a refilled used Canon cartridge with another company's sticker on it and different packaging. The key word in the advertising being 'compatible' doesn't mean original.
The website also advertised the product it was receiving was CANON PG-50 compatiable. An original Canon PG-50 would hold 22mL of ink. However the cartridge I received showed that it only had 20mL of ink and it was a refill of a CANON PG-40 cartridge which normally has a capacity of 16mL of ink show it might not hold 20mL.
I feel like I was misled and tricked by the website. If I knew I was getting refills, I would not be comparing the price with the price of originals showed at major retailers.
If the prices seem too good to be true, they are.

The Best Place to Get Taiyo Yuden

There are a lot of counterfeit Taiyo Yudens floating around, but not at blankmedia.ca. It's genuine. I know because of the complete lack of c2 errors (the bad uncorrectable kind) and relatively low number of c1 errors (the ok kind that is correctable) of all of my burns. These discs have yet to produce a coaster in nearly 500 burns, and I test every disc with plextools after I burn.
Also their shipping is totally quick, if you get your order in early it usually goes out that day. You get a tracking number as well as an email from canadapost when its picked up by them from blankmedia.
Good prices + quick shipping + genuine media = excellent value.

Yeah, it sounds like a commercial but it's still true. We get all of our blank dv tapes, blank DVDs & CDs and DVD cases from Blankmedia.
The prices are great, the delivery quick and the service is exceptional.
We highly recommend Blankmedia.

When I order from blankmedia.ca, I trust them to deliver authentic media manufactured by the company they say it was. Some other stores send knockoff stuff, but blankmedia.ca has always sent me the proper goods. Their website is very annoying, though.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys.
They offer an excellent range of products. Anything you need from blank cds/dvds, cases of various sizes and capacities, ink, toner and paper, they have it all. I've yet to find better overall pricing on the stuff they carry.
They ship quickly and package the goods securely. I have been shopping with them since 2004 and haven't had a single problem with an order yet.

Great place to get dvdrs online

They have very fast shipping, reasonable rates as well. A number of online companies will ship you cd/dvdr's, but they're all in the states. This is one of the few Canadian ones, so no rediculous duties at the border. The media you receive is exactly as it is described, they carry quality brands for good prices.
